I’ve decided to put together a list of realistic resolutions for the new year. A lot of the lists I’ve seen online tend to look pretty unlikely when it comes to the actual follow though. I figure if I set my targets realistically and employ my usual level of motivation I can adhere to the changes and accomplish the goals.
by 2011 to accomplish:
another 5k and a 10k
my first real bike race
the first draft of my childrens book
complete freedom from credit card debt
ongoing life changes for 2010
eat small home cooked portions, mostly plants
drink alcohol and coffee in moderation
Talk to my sister at least once a week
practice mediatation and yoga every week
breathe and learn to be more mindful of my breathing
become a person who listens using all my senses
treat each day as an opportunity to be closer to the person I want to be
let my first and last thoughts of each day be positive ones
sweat, hug someone, laugh out loud for real and fall in love with something/one every single day
Let’s see how it goes!
I’ve decided to put together a list of realistic resolutions for the new year. A lot of the lists I’ve seen online tend to look pretty unlikely when it comes to the actual follow though. I figure if I set my targets within reason and employ my usual level of motivation I can adhere to the changes and accomplish the goals. Right?
