small plates


I love using little plates. It helpsĀ  me to keep my portions in check and at the same time I always feel like I’m eating a lot more. I also like enjoying the taste of food instead of scarfing it down which can be really hard on nights like tonight. By the time I started cooking I was starving!

To stave off my munchies I snacked on a few delicious green grapes while I put together a quick dinner. I think I had about 9 or 10.

Before I knew it dinner was ready:

Edamame, roasted root veggies from last night, and a Boca burger on bed of spinach made for the perfect super fast meal. A Jill version of fast food if you will.

After dinner I snacked on a square of Ghiradelli.

A girl’s gotta have her chocolate.

Tonight I’m doing a little of my “other” writing (more info on that to come) and I think I’ll tweak the SEO on this page a bit. Tomorrow I’m trying out a new yoga studio in the city. It’s not hot, but it looks amazing as far as philosophy and teaching style and I’m really looking forward to it.
